Who We Are
BadBuddy is a badminton specialty retailer based in Irwindale, California. We operate a physical store that players can walk into, alongside this online shop. Everything we sell, we stock ourselves and ship from our own location — we are not a dropshipper and we do not sell through third-party fulfillment.
We are a small, independent business run by badminton players. Our customers are club players, junior athletes, and league competitors across Southern California and the wider United States.
What We Sell
Rackets, badminton shoes, apparel, shuttlecocks, strings, grips, bags, and court accessories. We also operate an in-house stringing workshop.
Our Stringing Service
We string rackets in-house, in the shop, on electronic constant-pull machines.
Constant-pull matters: the machine holds your target tension while the string settles, instead of pulling once and locking off. That is what keeps tension consistent across the string bed and stops the first session from feeling looser than you asked for.
We string to your requested tension up to each racket's stated maximum. We will not string above a manufacturer's maximum — it voids coverage and risks the frame.
You can add a stringing service to a racket purchase, or simply walk into our Irwindale store with your racket. Because a strung racket is built to your specification, stringing services are final sale — see our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
