Choosing a Tension

Lower tensions give a bigger sweet spot, easier power on clears and a softer feel. Higher tensions give more control and a crisper feel but need cleaner contact. Most club players string somewhere in the low to mid 20s (lbs); always stay within your racket's stated maximum.
